Abstract | |||
REB investigators are collaborating with extamural investigators and those from GEB in a follow-up study of 14,000 long-term childhood cancers, other outcomes to be evaluated include second and subsequent cancers, other outcomes to be evaluated include reproductive, psychosocial, and a wide range of chronic disease outcomes. The survivors completed a detailed questonnaire that included questions on the above outcomes as well as detailed family history and reproductive outcomes. A new short questionnaire is being planned to include questions on a more recent occurrence of second malignancies and new offspring or other reproductive outcomes since the last survey. Buccal cells are being requested from all members of the cohort. As a comparison group, the siblings of all cohort members were asked to complete the long earlier questionnaire. |
