Abstract | |||
DCEG funds specific aspects of testing and analysis of specimens from the DCP-funded ALTS project. The stewardship of the study passed this year to DCEG. The original design was a randomized control trial of three options for managing equivocal and low-grade cytologic abnormalities (immediate colposcopy, HPV triage, and cytology). The final analyses are still underway, and frozen aliquots of the specimens are used for testing novel HPV tests and molecular epidemiologic projects such as genomic and epigenetic studies. |
