Abstract | |||
We are currently analyzing data on typical administered activities for radiopharmaceuticals and data on percentage of use of radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in the United States in 1960-2010 obtained from a survey among nuclear medicine experts and from the literature. These data together with work history data and lifetime history of personal diagnostic medical radiation collected during surveys of U.S. radiologic technologists will be used in an ongoing assessment of both occupational and patient dose reconstruction in the USRT study. Doses will be estimated to different organs accounting for uncertainties in historical and questionnaire data. |
