Abstract | |||
We are completing analyses of the risk factors for melanoma and nevi in this case-control study. We have also analyzed data on sunbed use and found that sunbed use is a significanct risk factor for melanoma, after adjustment for all other UV exposure. Suncreen use provided some protection, particularly in those most susceptible. we collaborated with our colleagues from CCR anad demonstrated that sunscreen protected against melanoma development in a mouse model for melanoma. We also conducted exome sequencing on families identified from the family extension study; analyses are ongoing." |
