Abstract | |||
"In response to the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, H.R. 1256, we are working to catalog needs and opportunities in DCEG for tobacco research. We are also moving forward key research areas which will advance our knowledge of the relationship of smoking with cancer and other chronic diseases. We are examining associations between tobacco and many different cancer types and also looking at different types of tobacco products. We are also pursuing methodologic studies that examine the physiologic effects of tobacco products." |
