Dosimetry Monograph REB is preparing a monograph entitled Applications of Dosimetry in Radiation Epidemiology to be published as a special supplement to the peer reviewed journal, Radiation Research. The monograph will focus on the application of radiation dosimetry methods applied to epidemiologic studies that have been primarily conducted by REB with the intent to fill the void in the technical literature on how dosimetry is tailored for use in such studies. The monograph will feature papers on dosimetry methods for studies of populations exposed occupationally, e.g., from medical radiation and in nuclear industries, reconstruction of doses from radioactive fallout from nuclear testing, dosimetry for studies of other environmental sources, e.g., the Chernobyl accident, radon measurements and dosimetry, A-bomb dosimetry, biodosimetry, and statistical methods to evaluate and account for uncertainty in dose estimates.
