Abstract |
DESCRIPTION (provided by applicant): As instructed by the RFA guidelines, this section is different from the MSI application and focuses on the SKCCC Administrative Core activities. The SKCCC Administrative Core, in partnership with HUCC, is responsible for overall cancer related research and the oversight of the Comprehensive Minority Institution/Cancer Center grant. The Core facilitates the overall planning and management of the Partnership program and provides leadership on a daily basis, fiscal management of the award, and the coordination of input from the community and external advisors.
The overall responsibility for administration and management of the partnership is that of the Director. The responsibilities of the administration include planning, program development, budgeting, financial management, facilities management and personnel management. The Administrative Core will facilitate research objectives a t JHCCC and with HUCC. |
