Abstract | |||
Biokinetic models coupled with hybrid phantoms are used to estimate organ doses resulting from the administration of Iodine-131 for treatment purposes. In an on-going study, doses and associated uncertainites to organs other than the thyroids of patients treated for hyperthyroidism are being evaluated. A study at the planning stage is related to the assessment of organ doses following treatment for thyroid cancer. |
