We previously associated prostate cancer risk with prior sexually transmitted infections although individual agent was statisticaly significant. Based on suggestive findings in the literature, we are currently investigating risk associated with Trichomonas vaginalis infection in the prostate, lung, colorectal and ovarian (PLCO) cancer screening trial. |
